- **Upper trigram:** [Gen 艮](https://thefreeiching.com/trigrams/gen), Mountain, keeping still
- **Lower trigram:** [Zhen 震](https://thefreeiching.com/trigrams/zhen), Thunder, the arousing, movement
- **Lines, bottom to top:** 100001 (1 = solid yang, 0 = broken yin)

## Contemporary judgment

Nourishment. Attend to what you are taking in: food, company, thought, media, attention. You become what you feed upon; what enters you shapes what emerges from you. This is a time to be discerning about the substance of your daily intake, both outer and inner.

## Image

Thunder at the foot of the mountain. The open mouth. The superior person is careful with their words and careful with what they take into their body.

## Counsel

Review what you consume. Reduce what does not nourish; increase what does. Speak less and more truly; listen more widely but more selectively. The gate of the mouth, what goes in and what comes out, is the gate of your whole life right now.
