- **Upper trigram:** [Kun 坤](https://thefreeiching.com/trigrams/kun), Earth, the receptive, yielding
- **Lower trigram:** [Qian 乾](https://thefreeiching.com/trigrams/qian), Heaven, the creative, strong
- **Lines, bottom to top:** 111000 (1 = solid yang, 0 = broken yin)

## Contemporary judgment

Peace. The great and the small meet; heaven and earth are in communication. A time of flow, exchange, and mutual support. What has been separate now comes together. Use this moment well; periods of such harmony are rare and ask to be honored with generosity.

## Image

Heaven below and Earth above, the two in interpenetration. The ruler divides and completes the course of heaven and earth and so aids the people.

## Counsel

Share what you have: resources, attention, encouragement. The prosperity of this moment depends on circulation, not on accumulation. Build and renew important relationships while the current supports you. What you plant now will bear fruit for a long time.

## The six lines

> to cross the river resolutely,
> not to neglect what is far,

### Line 3

> A nine in the third place means:
